Linseis International L2200 Programmable Recorders

L2200II

The programmable recorders of the series L2200 combine the functions of a recorder with that of a datalogger and a data acquisition system.

Chart Recorder

Measuring signals are recorded continuously in different colors on paper.

Datalogger

Measuring signals are printed with the built-in inkjet printer on paper as values (with date and time). The time Interval between print-outs selectable. The printout shows the physical units of the measuring values, e.g. pH, mbar, grad C, etc.

Data Acquisition System

Through the built-in RS232 interface the measuring data can be sent to a connected computer. The computer will store and evaluate the measured data. The RS 232 interface can transmit up to 40 values per second per channel.

Built-in Keyboard

The Instrument can easily be controlled by means of a built-in keyboard.

LCD-Display

The 16 line LC display shows the menus that may be selected. Values can be displayed in the following modes:
  • bargraph display for all channels
  • all channels show digital values in user units
  • one channel as graphical trace
  • one channel in large display format
  • two channels In large format.

Remote-Keyboard

A Standard PC keyboard can be connected for easy input of text and programming.

RS232-Interface

The recorder can be completely controlled through the interface.

User Scaling

Very often the measuring signal is not a direct electrical unit as mV, mA, etc. but is PH, mbar, or another physical unit. In this case the L2200II will automatically translate the sensor output (which is always mV or mA) to the actual user unit.

Floppy-disc

The built-in floppy disc can store 1,44 MB equivalent to 720,000 measuring values. Additionally different instrument set-ups can be stored. All important parameters are stored automatically with measuring values for later evaluation.

Software for data export

Measuring data that was stored on the built-in floppy disc can be exported to EXCEL, LOTUS, or to LINSEIS evaluation package WIN/AW or U30/AW.

Software for on-line data acquisition

Software for on-line data acquisition through the RS232 is Uni/Erf and Win/Erf. This software shows a real-time display on screen and stores all data on hard disc for later evaluation.

lnkjet printer

The built-in inkjet printer produces the following information on paper:

Data replay

Files stored on disc can be replayed and reprinted again on the recording instrument.

Alarm menus

(action in case of alarm)

Mathematics

Min.-Max, average value, and standard deviation.

AC and DC

AC and DC measurements for mV, V, mA, and A are possible. Also, thermocouples and PtlOO can be measured.
